.RTPatch Professional allows easy updating of programs or data throughdistribution of a tiny binary patch file which contains only the versiondifferences..RTPatch Professional is used to provide bug fixes, program changes, datachanges, text revisions on the end-user's machine, at the binary level,without reinstallation.It has two pieces:First: The Patch Build program compares old and new versions of files(program, data, text)or entire systems. It then creates a very small file of the differences.Second: The Patch Apply programs turn the old version into the newversion on the enduser's machine without reinstallation. Built-in safetyfeatures assure correct application.The system is feature rich with optionsto handle history patching(version awareness), serialization, and other issues. All decisions aremade by the patch builder.
